The DME (Department of Mechanical Engineering) is responsible for the Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering Programs, in which our goals iare to promote the education, research and innovation in these areas. Another main goal that we focus is to create citizens that are capable to develop and implement solutions for local, regional and national social problems. Develop scientifical researches and technology for Engineering, striving excellence and expressing the commmitment with sustainable development by developing educational, cultural and scientific processes in order to increase the strenght between the Department of Mechanical Engineering and society.

The Department aims to teach courses for the undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, as well as other courses that may demand, provide professors and physical space to offer the specific course subjects of Mechanical and Production Engineering as well as educational materials and support to ensure the quality of the course and the environment.
